Unit 6-Current

In Unit 6 we will be learning about Cells. Specifically the differences between Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells; heterotrophic vs. autotrophic; the structure and function of the organelles of a cell; and how a cell divides (mitosis).
Schedule:
  • Day 1: 11/27
    • Colorings (due on test day)
      • Plant
      • Animal
  • Day 2: 11/29
    • Scientists who contributed to the early development of the Cell Theory
    • Cell Theory (3 parts)
      • 1- Cells are the basic units of structure and function
      • 2- All living things are composed of cells (1 or more)
      • 3- Cells arise from the division of preexisting cells
